Yea, but have you seen how gas prices have gone down in the last 100 days? The real reason they WILL have to raise the age is.....all the money went into other things over the last 60 or 70 years. Not in to an account that's NOT to be touched unless it's going out in a SS check. It's what will happen with all that money they are getting from us the next 4 years for heath care before the heath care start helping us. There will not be any of it left after the 4th year!:mad:

But.... The reason they have to drill in the middle of the gulf etc. is because we can't see it. None of us want oil wells in our back yards so way off shore is about the only place left. I mean undoubtedly there is as much oil a mile offshore in 100ft of water but we wont allow that. I bet that well would of been capped in a day or two in 100ft. of water. Drilling a mile below the surface is idiotic, but like I said, its about the only place they can. I'm not saying its right or wrong but if we use it they have to drill someplace.
