Just letting the fans know that many Ocala Speedway drivers and their cars will be running in the Belleview Christmas Parade on Sunday afternoon at 2PM. The parade route follows US441/301 south through the Belleview business district and everyone is invited to attend. And special thanks to Diamond Jim Higginbotham for organizing the drivers and getting so many to volunteer their time!

If you want an Ocala parade... break out the DIRTcars!!! Rich Pratt, Mike Eubanks, Ivedent Lloyd, etc... let people know about the future of Ocala Speedway!

And, of course, Jim needs to put some big fat dirt tires on the NAPA 15!

LOL! I'm sure that if Rich Pratt shows up today with his dirt car he'll be allowed to ride right up there with the gang from Ocala in the parade. C'mon Rich! Join the party! Maybe Jim can give Ivedent a last minute call? LOL! I'm still a little bummed that I'm just gonna be watching from the sidelines, but then again they need racers and race cars, not a fat guy with a big mouth...ROFL!!!!

As for dirt tires on Jim's #15, I'm pretty sure that ain't gonna happen. However, I can't wait to see Jim in his other car for the first time on dirt. I'm betting he's gonna prove that you really can teach an old dog some new tricks. He's just waiting on the rest of the new rules to get posted before he gets started, and those rules should be appaearing on www.ocalaspeedway.com anytime over the next week and a half.

We all had a great time today. Frank, driving Kyle Maynard's SLM, BROKE. Had to be pushed into a gas station close by. His battery failed.
I did three rev limit burn outs down 441 in the NAPA 15, but it must have those enviormentally friendly tires. Very little smoke, but a big hit with the crowd.:huepfen024:
8 cars total and a great show.:ernaehrung004: Nope, no dirt cars.....

Just got the word that we were 3rd place in the motorized division.
We were the most exciting with the crowd, but the judges are not race fans I guess.

Hey Matt(ocalaisback3), Several reasons I can think of that we were not in the Ocala Parade.
It's too long and no stopping. No burn outs, for sure, allowed. Too noisy(cars).
You are dumped at the far end of Ocala away from your haulers( Belleview you finish where you start).
Come on down to Belleview next year and see the difference.:sport009:

yeah i didnt get a chance to get to belleview kinda surprised about the noise tho they had some very loud street bikes but your right no burnouts lol only reason i went to ocala parade was that the parade route is 3 blocks from my house so i can walk there :c)~ glad you guys had fun tho cant wait to see you guys on dirt this year and remember sliding on a dirt track doesnt mean you will lose :c)~
