Not sure he had all his teeth after the crash. Seems that he got bumped and ended up dead. Why do people think that just because Dale Sr. did something, it is alright? There was a time that racing and demolition derbies were two separate events.

I Was Only Trying To Explain . Maybee I Have Been Around Racing Too Long But I Have Learned A Lot Seen A Lot . And Some Times That Simple I Got To Win That Race No Matter What It's A Macho Thing

And It Don't Turn Out Like You Expect It Too So I Guess Some People Think When You Are Running Second And You Have Tried Ever Move You Can Make To Get Around The Leader And He Ain;t Really Driving You Dirty But He Ain;t Rolling Over And Playing Dead And Letting You By Cause You Put Bumper To Him Couple Times

Then It's Ok To Drive In On Last Lap And Just Drill Crap Out Of No One Car No Matter If It Is Going To Slam Him Head On In To Wall And Tear Up 4-or 5 Cars Behind Him As Long As You Win .. Now You Tha Big Man

Now Next Week Shoe Is On Other Foot And You Would Be First One Crying Cause Your Car Is Wadded Up Me Personaly I Don't Think You Should Have Got First Place The Other Car 102 Should Have One You Should Have Got 8 Weeks Off And That Would Stop That ..

i always told my driver to give a line also would tell any one give my driver a line or we will take one. do not mirror drive my driver von pope always drove a very loose car you just touch him ,he would spin out . to the back you go he gets his spot back. ron ,its the same old s--t. dave and howard 41

Or you can click on the SEARCH link in the navigation bar and search for all articles on Auburndale or whatever you are looking for.

Nearly every track in Florida currently active has 8-10 years of race results available on these pages.

You might want to put a link to the Karnac pages on the Message board pages. If you have only the message board bookmarked you can't get to the Karnac pages with the links on the board. It took me a long long time to figure that out. I have finally bookmarked the karnac site. Originally, I somehow found the message boards and bookmarked them. When the newer board came into existence I could no longer find the news pages and actually thought they may have been eliminated. Presently your news link takes you to your radio shows but not the write ups or results.
Maybe Jack could update the site and consolidate everything in his spare time. :) Just kidding Jack.

Thanks I know of that web site. But the way Carol posted I was thinking it was on here somewhere. As did others. I guess it has something to do with last years around and around with Rex on the radio show and the fact that someone else powers that web site. As to why it's not on here.:(

I am very much from the old school on this. I will drive you the same way you drive me. If you run over me i will not cry i will not complain but it will not bother me one bit to park my car on your hood. I will give anyone a lane to pass me but if you give me the bump and run you will not win the race or if it is the last lap you make sure next time we are on the track together you are buckled up really really tight. This getting done to people if they let others do things to them and get away with it that is there own fault but, and i have known Ron and his boys for years and they will attest, some don't put up with being done wrong.
