2300 head

someone gave me a solid post mod-mini 2300 head cut to the bottom intake bolt holes, the cam tower is broke off, i have the peices can it be welded back together and then strapped?

yes it can be welded. we had 1 on our mod mini that broke and it was fixed but it finaly broke again after 2 years n we threw the head away after that

here is a picture of it who welded it and how was it done? this one was dropped and broke so its in peices.

the gentelman that did mine passed away a few years ago. but he had a cam blank that went in the towers to make sure the tower went back on in the same spot then ground a on each cracked piece to make a void in order to get the weld to penetrate. then pre heated the head and welded it and straped each tower i was only 14 years old then and just saw the completed product.
